Agreed a price on phone, come in shop 1 hour later, old man decides to increase price. I said to him, we agreed on a price literally 1 hour ago, he responds "don't bother then" throws my documents back at me and walks off? Waste of time

Went today and ask how much will you give me for a gold bracelet which Ramsdens had offered me 84 pound. She said 200 pounds, so it was money in wallet and the bracelet left at the shop. Lovely staff and very knowledgeable

If you need psychiatric help I am ready to get over it, it is not your fault (although you should not run a business). But if you mistreat / insult / kick out people only because you are a jerk, I cannot accept it. I did not like the way they treated us from the start, as our reccomendations about the pricing for the gold we brought have been ignored, we were urged to put our gold in a basket and then the lady took it away abruptly without even counting the pieces we were submitting. We told her we would be coming back next day as we had not our passports with us, but when we asked for the price of one more item, the guy literally threw the ring at us and said "I will not give a prise without a document", and turned his back on us. I tried to tell them we would not take this rudeness, the answer was "I don't want to see you in this shop again", then, as we were gathering our gold, he started glancing at my husband in the most intimidating way. When my husband got sick of this behaviour he just asked "I see you keep looking at me. How can I help?". The answer was "It does not work like this" and he kicked us out. Do not visit this jewellery if you whish to avoid that guy's Psycho turns, expecially if you, like us, have an italian accent. Possibly racism is behind the corner. Manners are far away for sure.

The guy in the glass box gave me great price! and great service to be fair. if your going to complain about the best gold prices probably anywhere, I probably wouldn't bother looking at buying gold. great service and great staff. Got myself a lovely curb chain today from these guys at a very good price. Could not be happier. 5 stars all day long.

BE WARNED. Don’t waste your time to be insulted and embarrassed. The ‘manager’ decided he didn’t want me to buy anything because I opted to remove two items from a £1200 purchase. Such a shame as I’ve had great experiences there before. Please be aware that the ‘VAT reduction scheme’ that they have seems to be an arbitrary discount that enables them to pressure you into selling. Had I known I would refuse and just pay the ticket price, really not worth it.
